Q:

A:

Q:
I submitted a story idea and have not seen the story yet. How are stories selected for the Story Bank?
A:
Your contribution of story ideas is tremendously important, even if it doesn't result in a story right away. All story ideas are deposited into a database that is accessible to communications officers around the university. Some ideas may be developed into stories you'll see online, others will be pursued for other university purposes such as speeches, articles and outreach events.
Q:
Why did you choose those particular topics to search by when there are so many great fields of research and teaching at Stanford?
A:
The topics are organized to clearly illustrate the vision and goals of The Stanford Challenge—finding multidisciplinary solutions to health, environmental, and international issues; educating leaders through arts and creativity, and an emphasis on K-12, undergraduate, and graduate education.
